The short version
The game itself doesn't collect, store, or share any personal information. No accounts, no ads, no tracking. Your game stays on your device. The only time we receive any information about you is if you choose to email us.
Who we are
Cupunapa is a small independent game made by Daniela Bramwell, PhD, based in Ecuador. If you have any questions about this policy, write to us at info@cupunapa.com.
What we collect
Nothing. The game does not ask for your name, email, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal details. It does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking tools, and it does not send information about you or how you play to us or to anyone else.
What stays on your device
To make the game work well, it remembers a few things in your device's own storage. This information never leaves your device, and we can't see it:
- Your settings (for example sounds, music, card size, left-handed layout, and draw style)
- A game in progress, so you can pick up where you left off
- Which invitations and loading messages you've seen recently, so they don't repeat too often
- Whether you've opened the game before
- A copy of the game's own files, so it can work offline
To remove all of this, delete the app. (If you play in a web browser, clear this site's data in your browser settings.)
If you email us
If you choose to write to us, we'll receive your email address and your message. We use them only to reply to you. We never sell or share them.
How long we keep it, and how to have it deleted
We keep your email and message only as long as we need them to answer you and to improve the game. If you'd like us to delete them, or to tell you what we have, write to info@cupunapa.com and we'll do it.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you (only the emails you've sent us), ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@cupunapa.com. Because the game collects nothing, there is nothing else to access, correct, or delete.
Buying the game
If you buy Cupunapa through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies. We never see your card or payment details. Apple and Google may keep their own records about your download or purchase under their own policies; we don't receive them.
Where the game and website are hosted
The Cupunapa website (cupunapa.com) is hosted by GitHub Pages. Like most web hosts, GitHub may keep basic technical records (such as IP addresses) for security. We don't have access to those records or use them. See GitHub's privacy statement for details.
Who the game is for
Cupunapa is made for a general audience and isn't aimed specifically at children. The game doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top. If the game ever starts collecting any information, we'll say so clearly first.
